Help Choose This Year’s Beach Bum Parade Royalty!
The Beach Bums are seeking your input to select the Royalty for this year’s May 16 Beach Bum Parade! Our new royals will be officially crowned on April 30, and we need your nominations for four special titles:
• Grand Marshal – A longtime Tybee resident (individual or couple) who has made a lasting impact on our island.
• Queen – A deserving Tybee woman who embodies the spirit of our community.
• Big Kahuna – A standout member of Tybee’s next generation, someone who is making waves and shaping our island’s future.
• Princess Moana (no Disney connection—just a fun name!) – A young leader who is active, engaged, and bringing fresh energy to Tybee.
The Grand Marshal and Queen honor OG Tybee folks—residents who have lived here for years and contributed significantly to our island’s character.
Recognizing that Tybee is also shaped by a new wave of community leaders, the Big Kahuna and Princess Moana titles celebrate younger residents who are visible, involved, and making a positive impact.
